Trixie Defined

Allow myself to explain myself....
Trixie is my little nickname for those ridiculously fashionable, about-town girls at the newest, hippest place to be with their Kooba bags and cute little wrap dresses that you can never wear because you look like Heidi Klum from the side, but Grimace from the front (maybe that's just me). And Trixie hair is the shiniest, straightest curtain of chic ever seen outside of a salon. Of course, the dark side of Trixies is their lack of career ambition and knowledge of current events outside of New York Fashion Week coupled with their ruthless persuit of free martinis or diet soda water & vodka (no calories!!!).
And all women have a little Trixie in them. It comes out in magical moments like when you still do the "Sorority Pose" for pictures: lean in cheek to cheek, cigarette behind your back and beer (in a bottle...gasp!) down by your side. If you saw the new ad for the "Sex and the City" movie and squealed. If you've ever worn shoes that give you blisters but make your butt look two inches higher. If you are wary of girls that don't dance to "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" at weddings. If you've ever bought something sparkly because you were grumpy and it cheered you up. I say, don't be a Trixie jealousy/hate monger. Trix it up every now and then. And call me when you do! Love you, mean it...kiss, kiss.
